Compound leverage in a small package

SOG Powerlock stands apart from the multitude of multi-tools on the market by virtue of a patented compound leverage mechanism. The compound leverage doubles the force applied through the pliers. Normal multi-tools have a leverage of 7:1, the Powerlock provides a 14:1 leverage ratio. That extra force makes it possible to cut materials that a normal multi-tools can’t handle.
