This is where the tours of the tunnels begin. There are many carved stucco adornments in the tunnels, mostly of animals. You can still see pigments of the once brightly-colored building exteriors. The bottom picture shows the precision in which the structures were made; on the left is the portion covered by archaeologists for protection, on the right is the original masonry.
